I haven’t watched the video. I don’t want to watch the video because I read the news, i am aware of what happens in the world and I do not need a company like invisible children to tell me what problems my attention needs to be focused on.

But ask yourself do you really care about the cause you are supporting? OR is it a way to to impress others by making yourself look like you actually have a heart? Ask yourself this as well… If you really cared about the situation would you risk ending your own life so they can begin theirs?

To me, what is sad about all of this is it takes a “cool” looking video to open the public eye about matters that currently are and have been happening for centuries. You want change the course of history huh? Then stop hiding behind a computer screen and take action. Literally.

It’s not just this particular situation that irritates me. Its the fact that most people use the majority of unfortunate events occurring in society that are brought to the light USUALLY at someone else’s expense (death, destruction, famine, fire, flood…) as a way to seem heroic by creating some “non profit clothing hip artsy trendy music related REBLOG & RT IF YOU AGREE and while you’re at it check out ME ME ME ME ME, myself and the other SELECT FEW causes I am fighting for” BULLSHIT organization or online campaign used only for some shamed laced self promotion and OF COURSE “make the cause known” to only wear it as a badge of honor showing that THEY were the ones to tell you about it FIRST!!! then it’s “back to you Matt for sports!” While 3 weeks later the matter becomes lost information. A completely forgotten misplaced sentence in a book that you didn’t highlight on a page which corner you failed to bend back as marker. And people wonder why I hate the human race? If you are one of those people and you are reading this. You know who you are. I speak for myself when I say fuck you..

Read the paper. Watch the news. Don’t wait till someone posts a status for you to know about it. Discover it on your own and if you want to do something about it personally make sure what you want to happen gets done.

Do not get me wrong. I’m not saying what people are doing on the internet is pointless. I am saying if everyone involved in this is sitting around talking about it then who will actually physically do the deed?

So for the last time ask yourself..

Do you honestly care that much about what you believe to where you can make the switch from giving the donations to receiving them for supplies or at least is your heart really in the right place for you to send the message you are wanting to send.

Can YOU be the change you want to see in the world?

Sometimes when its late at night, I get woken up by my phone vibrating and lighting up. Immediately, I cross my fingers and hold my breath hoping its the one i have never stopped loving. the one i dream about. Hanging on to the possibility that she has just called or sent me a message to say she feels the same, she misses me, she thinks about me, she loves me, and most of all she is coming home to me to spend the rest of our lives together.. But its just an email notification from Netflix saying my subscription renewal payment is due…..

Losing your identity is much more a greater loss to oneself than never finding it to begin with.

LADIES: Guys don’t care if you talk to other guys. We don’t care if you’re friends with other guys. But when you’re sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you charge him to say hello, without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off. It doesn’t help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we’re still there. We don’t care if a guy calls OR TEXTS you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned. Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. That it can’t wait till the morning. Also, when we tell you you’re pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, cute, stunning, we mean it. Don’t tell us we’re wrong or we will stop trying to convince you. The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence. quote me. Don’t be a dick when we hold the door open for you. Take Advantage of the mood im in. and say thank you. Kiss us when no one’s watching. If you kiss us when you know somebody’s looking, we’ll be more impressed.

You don’t have to get dressed up for us. If we’re going out with you in the first place, you don’t have to feel the need to wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of makeup you own. We like you for who you are and not what you are. Honestly, i think a girl looks more beautiful when she’s just in her pj’s. or my tshirt and boxers, not all dolled up. Don’t take everything we say seriously. Sarcasm is a beautiful thing. See the beauty in it. Don’t get angry easily. Stop using magazines and media as your bible. For the love of god stop talking about The Kardsashians in front of us. It’s boring and we don’t care. You have girlfriends for that.

Also, whatever happened to the word “handsome” or “beautiful” i’d be completely stunned by a girl who greeted me with “hey handsome” Girls, I cannot stress this enough: if you aren’t being treated right by a guy, dont wait for him to change. Ditch his sorry ass. he is a disgrace to the male population. find someone who will treat you with utter respect Someone who will honor your morals. Someone who will make you smile when you’re at your lowest. Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes. Someone who puts you on a pedestal. Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel. Someone who will stop what they’re doing just to say “i love you” and actually mean it. moral of this is: Ladies please stop being dumbasses by either acting like a jackass or being a dumbass by dating or being involved with a douchebag.

Love

Throughout everything I have encountered in life there is one thing I have never understood is why so many people are filled with such haste and anger towards each other at times. The main reason these emotions exist is because someone disagrees with the other, to the point they cause destruction and sometimes death to the other individual. In my short time here on this earth, I would like to help people. I would like to live in happiness, in peace. I don’t understand why people don’t see that there is room for all of us here on earth. It could provide for everyone, letting everyone benefit off of it. Still pride gets in the way, blocking the idea of peace and love in its entirety

Out of everything man has created, our oldest and most disturbingly effective invention is the ability to form hate towards one another in our own hearts. The deadliest weapon man has ever created was neither the bullet nor the bomb but an ability to justify the idea and reason to ourselves that is okay as humans for us to  look to our fellow man as different simply because of the color of their skin, culture, their social class, economic standing or creed. We were all taught at a young age not to trust people we see as different. To not befriend or play with those who come from a bad home life because they are considered a bad influence. We are all taught at a young age to not accept those who believe in a different God. But try to convert or make them conform to your beliefs and transform them into what is considered acceptable to you.

But deep down in every man, woman and child’s soul, we know that this isn’t right. We as humans are born into the world as something pure. We are born with love and passion. We are born in tranquility. We are not born with hate, we are taught to hate. We are not born with the knowledge of right and wrong or what is normal and what is different. We are taught to notice the difference.

We are raised to believe that in any situation involving a disagreement, conflict must ensue and one must always be right. We build machines to fight wars, to inflict pain and destruction to prove our points. But why? Why must we live like this? Why must we carry on this way? If we can build machines that fly or bombs that can destroy entire cities, why can we not build machines for hope and peace? Why can we not build something that loves?

Humanity and the way life as we know it could be inveterate and perennial. It could be free and beautiful. But throughout the course of history we have lost sight of that. We have lost the way. We are led by greed. We have let the idea of power, fame and wealth triumph over compassion, humility and oneself ability of upholding a reverent character.

We let the wrong overthrow the right. We place physical beauty on a pedestal to worship rather than praising those who give to those who are in need. Technology has singlehandedly connected the world uniting every culture as one. Still we do not look to it in that aspect. We have taken Humanity and the great opportunity that has been placed in our laps to seclude and surround ourselves behind stronger barriers to keep out those we don’t want in. But ask yourself why don’t we want to let them in? Why can we not love them as if they are blood? Why can we not love them as if they were our neighbor? It’s all we have known. It is up to this generation to break that pattern.          

I challenge you to do this. Be an orator to those who can’t speak, be the hands to those who can’t feel. Give shelter to those who are without the comfort of a home. Shine a light to those who have no guidance. Be a positive influence and save those who have lost sight of the path and are deemed “past the point of saving”. As humans we all have the power of free will, we have the ability to think for ourselves. So follow your heart to places you want to be instead of concreting yourself in corner society tells you need to be. Stay young and foolish. Treat others as if they were you. Keep your innocence, honesty and good morals in your shirt pocket or someplace that is close to your heart. Think less and feel more. Rise above present day standards and make your expectations something that is full of truth and righteousness. All men, women and children are created as equal. All of us have the ability to break down the barriers we surround ourselves in. Change will occur when you take action. Take advantage of the opportunities we have in front of us today and be the change you want to see. We must find a way to live as one and we must find a way to love deeper

The idea of loving more is not impossible nor is it something that is out of reach and unattainable. It is only impossible and unattainable if you do not have the will power to accept love, to show love or to feel love. To simply let love into your hearts. We are born to love, not born to hate. We are not born to destroy or spread violent emotions towards others, not to spread anger and hostility. The unloved are the one who hate. The unloved are the ones who have fallen victim to a machine that thinks and feels for them. 

We as human beings were created out of a moment of passion and love; therefore we must dedicate our lives to live to love one another. It is foolish to do otherwise. We mustn’t fight for power, we mustn’t fight for wealth physically, we must fight for wealth spiritually, mentally and ethically. We mustn’t fight for a cause that was created in the mind of a greed driven politician, dictator or leader, whom we will more than likely never meet nor see. We must fight for our children’s future and the continuation of our species. Hate and ostracizing those who we deem as different will not bring us together, but will pull us apart leading to the fall of man. We must fight for happiness. We must fight to free our minds from the things that is considered “everything we have known”. We must fight to progress the idea that all men are to be viewed as balanced, man in its entirety deserves equality.

If you are weak in spirit, force yourself to grow stronger. Realize what has happened to us, to the human race. The human soul, the character and the heart of man was never meant to be controlled or taken advantage of. It is not what we were created for; we were created to inflict benevolence and clemency rather than to inflict manipulation and antipathy. We must put an end to those who curb us, those who tell us how to act, how to think and how to feel. We need to start a vicious war to put an end to their ideals and their standards. We must fight, using love as our weapon and compassion as our ammunition. We must fight their war of hate and manipulation with peace and grace. We must use forgiveness and understanding as our propaganda to show those who are at the direct opposite of our forefront on the battlefield, that we don’t fear them. But love them in the most abundant way with our entire hearts.

My argument is simple. Love IS the most essential component to stabilize mankind’s existence. So I challenge you to do two things on behalf of saving our species. Love more and Love deeper.
